As we may have seen from the various communications that have just appeared in the press and on social media that PT Equine Global including its subsidiaries of PT Optima Data Internasional, PT Niagaprima Paramitra and PT Xsis Mitra Utama (also known as Equine Technologies Group – ETG), has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by IBM Global Services Pte Ltd (IBM).
We are thrilled to be able to align the deep skills and services we provide to customers here at ETG with those of IBM.
As we are probably aware IBM is a highly respected and renowned global leader providing services and technology solutions to multiple industries globally. This merger will allow ETG to provide customers with access to a much wider range of innovative services and technology solutions to meet every business need.
The planned acquisition allows us to leverage IBM’s industry expertise and broad portfolio of digital services and technologies to deliver broader hybrid cloud solutions at scale, build customized Next Gen Data solutions, and help apply Artificial Intelligence (AI) at enterprise-scale.
We view this as an opportunity not just for us – but for our customers as well as our business partners too. We hope all stakeholders are equally as excited!
Please note that this acquisition transaction is subject to customary closing conditions. It is anticipated the transaction will close in the fourth quarter of 2023.
